Mission Statement
St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleums has been dedicated as sacred space since 1887. Our perspective is to care for the living. We remember their loved ones, we celebrate their lives, and we believe in the resurrection. Hence our motto:

On these grounds we carry out the sacred religious functions of burial and entombment and care for the final resting place of the Catholic deceased and their family, until the day of resurrection. It is a place for worship, prayer, and reflection as evidenced in our motto. We provide bereavement counseling for children and adults, prayer groups, recitation of the Rosary, committal services, Divine Mercy Novena, and healing services throughout the year. Our memorial program is available for any deceased loved one, whether or not they are with us. We encourage families to partake of all that is offered as they journey in this new phase of life. We believe in and are committed to the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church with regard to the deceased. We recognize the Corporal Works of Mercy in the burial and reverence to the deceased. We are respectful to the people of God, who remain a part of the Catholic community, though they rest here with us. Through our words and deeds we will exemplify sacredness and dignity to the deceased and their family. Our Catholic Cemetery is a final profession of faith in God, for all who believe.
